Beyond Pressure International Performance Art Event, 09 ( 1st June 2009)
Beyond Pressure is the major and yearly international performance art festival in Myanmar. It was minor project in this year. It held between 1st Beyond Pressure’s festival – Dec 08 and 2nd Beyond Pressure’s festival- Dec 09. It was took place indoors and out door at Myanmar Art Center, on 1st June 2009. This time we invite 8 Local and International artists. We want to show in practice that it is possible in contemporary Myanmar to do outstanding and daring performance art in more public spaces, so that we can connect with more people. We aim to engage local media by speaking about Beyond Pressure in popular local journals, in order to encourage the idea of performance art in the general cultural consciousness.
